CELEBRATED Hampshire musician Frank Turner is to curate a second festival in 2018.

His award-winning Lost Evenings is to return to London’s iconic The Roundhouse in May.

The four-day festival, winner of the AIM Best Independent Festival Award earlier this year, will include several sets from the pop punk troubadour from Meonstoke including a crowd-pleasing opener with The Sleeping Souls and his silver-selling second album Love Ire & Song in full to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

He’ll be joined by old friends inclduing Xtra Mile label bandmates Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly and Southampton’s own Sean McGowan.

The event will also feature Canadian alt-rockers Arkells, The Homeless Gospel Choir, The Subways and Australian singer-songwriter Emily Barker.

Acoustic support acts for an open mic night featuring Franke are the legendary Ginger Wildheart and rising star Sarah Walk.

Lost Evenings 2 will once again take over the Camden area with events running throughout the day and evening celebrating live music.

As well as the evening performances, a selection of panels and workshops will run during the day, featuring leading industry insiders, musicians, experts and music professionals offering inspiration, insight and advice to audiences.

The inaugural festival hosted over 40 live acts in five different venues over a weekend that had community and camaraderie at its core.

He told the Daily Echo: “I’m proud that Lost Evenings went so well last year, and excited to be bringing it back in 2018, bigger, bolder and better. The line-up of artists and panels is going to be amazing. I’ll see everyone in May.”

Season tickets for Lost Evenings 2 and day tickets for Friday and Saturday have already sold out. Day tickets for Sunday and Monday are available to buy from Ticketmaster.
