AN AIR ambulance crew has been called to Romsey town centre after a crash.
Witnesses say a "young lad" was knocked off a moped on Alma road around 3.30pm.
According to the witness, an air ambulance landed on the road to treat the patient.
The road was shut in both directions following the collision, between Station Road and The Hundred.
Road users were advised to avoid the area, however it has since been reopened.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.23pm to reports of a collision on Alma Road.
"One person has sustained minor injuries.
"The incident has now closed."
