A REGIONAL law firm has signed a ten-year lease on a new Hampshire property.

Thrings is set to move into newly-refurbished offices on Broadlands in Romsey later this year after moving from its existing location in Southampton.

The firm says it is eyeing up long-term growth after moving into the Stuart Court offices, which is nine-times bigger than its original home when it launched in Hampshire two years ago.

The firm is headed by four partners and covers commercial, rural, agriculture and corporate cases.

Simon Holdsworth, managing partner, said: “Eighteen months ago we made the decision to expand our UK footprint beyond our existing offices in London, Bristol, Bath and Swindon.

“During this period, we have continued to build links within the farming and landed estates communities, enhanced our offering to private clients and strengthened our commercial team to provide clients with an integrated legal service instead of one which separates commercial, agricultural and private affairs.

“Thrings has never been afraid to do things differently, and rather than relocate to an anonymous out-of-town business park, we have opted for premises which we believe will support our future growth plans, provide clients with city-standard commercial facilities in a rural setting and offer staff a new and exiting working environment.”

The new Romsey facility compromises of a theatre-style meeting room, break-out areas, quiet rooms and a space for hosting events and entertaining clients.

Simon added: “The move to Stuart Court comes at a very busy time for Thrings, with the firm also signing a long-term lease on new commercial premises in the heart of London’s legal and financial districts. Having recently secured a number of new client wins, and with growing workforces in both Hampshire and London, we are very pleased to be restating our commitment to clients in the south of England.”
