A HAMPSHIRE restaurant and tea room has closed suddenly.
Annie’s Kitchen and Tearooms, at Kimbridge, near Romsey, did not open today, with its owner citing “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason.
Staff due to be working this morning were informed of the closure by Facebook.
Owner David Ramos posted: “It saddens me to inform you all that due to unforeseen circumstances Annie’s is no closed. Sorry for any upset this may cause.
“Thank you for all your efforts and I wish you all the very best for the future.”
The restaurant’s website remains live, still advertising Christmas Day meals.
It is not known whether any bookings had been taken prior to the sudden closure.
Neighbouring Kimbridge Farm Shop is said to be unaffected by the closure.
