ENTRIES for a Community Gardening Challenge are now open. The contest gives residents, businesses and allotment gardeners the opportunity to show off their gardening skills, with 21 categories, ranging from hanging baskets to school grounds.
Entry is free and open to anyone who lives or has a business within Fareham Borough and would like to show off their green fingered talents. Entries are judged in July and an awards presentation evening will be held later in the year at Ferneham Hall.
The closing date for entries is Friday 15 June. Nominations can be made online. For more information contact the Parks Team on 01329 236100 or email parks@fareham.gov.uk.
