EASTLEIGH residents are being invited to have their say on the Local Plan.

As previously reported, national policy requires the borough council to help meet a shortfall in housing across south Hampshire by providing 14,580 homes in the next 20 years.

The Local Plan sets out how the borough council will deliver space for new homes, businesses and all the facilities needed.

Now residents are asked to have their say at the following drop in sessions: Wyvern School, June 26 and July 18, 5pm – 9pm; The Hub, July 4 and 16, 3pm – 7.30pm; Hamble Primary School, June 25, 3pm – 7pm; Pilands Wood Community Centre, July 24, 4pm – 7pm; Abbey Hall, July 25, 3pm – 7pm; Fryern Pavilion, July 2, 3pm – 7pm; Eastleigh House, July 9, 3pm – 7pm; Crestwood Community School, July 23, 3pm – 7.30pm; West End Parish Centre, July 5, 3pm – 7pm; Hedge End Centre 2000, July 10, 4.45pm – 8pm; The Botley Centre, July 17, 3pm – 7pm; Colden Common Community Centre, July 11, 3pm – 7.30pm.
