AN "OUT of character" bungalow will not be built in Woolston.
Developers identified the land at the rear of 127 Swift Road as suitable for the detached build, which would have had associated parking and refuse storage.
However, planning officials at Southampton City Council refused the plans due to its "over-development" of the site.
