VOTES have started coming in for the finalists in the Daily Echo’s £6,000 School Build Challenge.

Earlier this week we revealed the 17 shortlisted infant, junior and primary schools that are in the running to see their dreams for an outdoor building project turned into a reality.

We have teamed up with construction company Leadbitter to offer three prizes for schools of professional works up to the value of £3,000, £2,000 and £1,000.

But which schools win is entirely down to Daily Echo readers.

Every day between now and the closing date of May 17 we are printing tokens, which should be sent in to vote for the project you think is most deserving.

Bonus tokens are also available in our free sister papers – the Southampton, Eastleigh and Winchester News Extra, and New Forest Post – and for downloading from dailyecho.co.uk.

The winners will be the school that has the highest number of tokens, when that is divided by the number of pupils it has.

To help readers make up their minds about which school to send their tokens for, we will next week be featuring each of the finalists.
