For a team looking for their first win of the season, there couldn't have been a worse start; Wellow were two down within the first ten minutes.

The shock then seemed to galvanise Wellow, who started to dominate the midfield and take control of the game.

Wellow were awarded a free kick on the edge of the area, Callum Greenaway shooting into the top corner.

Jo Yandell then ran at the defense, his shot forcing the keeper to a save but he spilled the ball into the path of Callum Greenaway who then evened the scores.

Early in the second half Wyvern put through a speculative long ball and their pacey forward got onto the end of it, slotting under 'The Cat' in the Wellow goal.

Soon after, Man of the match, James Brand got the ball on the edge of the area and tried an audacious lob but the Wyvern 'keepr managed to get a hand to it and palm it out - only for Tom Farr to be on hand to place into the bottom corner of the net.

This was Wellows best spell of the game, Adam Cater and Harry Field stubbed out the few threats that Wyvern offerred and Chris Hinton battling for every ball. Then Rory Saunders took the ball from the half way line running at goal.

He brushed aside the Wyvern challenges and buried his shot into the top corner to give Wellow the victory that they deserved.
