An events venue has won a prestigious award for the second year in a row.

Orange Grove Hotel and Gardens was named the Best Events Venue for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in this year's Muddy Stilettos Awards.

Owners Louise Martin and Annaliese Hughes have been recognised for their investment in the venue, which they bought last year.

Louise said: "We are thrilled to have retained our Muddy Stilettos Award for another year.

"As a new category in 2024, we are delighted to have won it twice in a row, and we believe it reflects our ambitious vision for the property and the hard work and dedication of our fantastic team."

The owners plan to celebrate the award win with a party in the summer, to which they will offer 100 complimentary tickets to members of the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Since acquiring the business in 2024, the owners have been working hard to make Orange Grove Hotel and Gardens a unique destination.

They plan to diversify their services by partnering with a beauty and wellness brand to transform unused space into treatment rooms.

This will allow them to offer beauty and wellness treatments to leisure guests and wedding parties.

Annaliese said: "A key objective is to diversify our services.

"We’re currently exploring a partnership with a beauty and wellness brand to transform some disused space into treatment rooms."

They also plan to introduce shepherd huts among the trees for guests seeking a nature-rich stay, and are considering adding a gym and cold-water therapy to enhance their wellness offering.

Louise added: "We’re looking to make more thoughtful use of our land too.

"Plans include the introduction of shepherd huts nestled among the trees, offering a charming alternative to traditional accommodation and appealing to anyone seeking a nature-rich stay.

"We’re also exploring the addition of a gym and cold-water therapy to enhance our wellness offering further."

They also plan to create a greenhouse restaurant at the front of the land, which would serve as a destination restaurant and a new event space.
