Police pursuits resulted in three arrests in three separate incidents this week. 

A video shared by police also showed an insight into a car chase, as officers flew around residentials streets with lights and sirens on to pursue a vehicle.

In the first incident, officers tried to stop a car in Harefield but the vehicle continued to drive.

A man eventually got out of the vehicle and attempted to run from police.

After a short foot chase, the man was detained in Fritham Road and was found to be in possession of suspected cannabis and cash.

Officers also found an extendable baton in a vehicle linked to him.

The man, who is 18-years-old and from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

In another incident, police also attempted to stop a car suspected to be involved in drugs supply in the Witts Hill area.

After a short chase, a flick knife, a large amount of cash, suspected Class A drugs, suspected Class B drugs and two phones were found in the vehicle.

A 25-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug, driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.

In a separate incident, a man suspected to be involved in drug-related activity was stopped and searched, while a house connected with him was also raided.

Police found suspected Class B and Class A drugs and a large quantity of cash.

A 21-year-old man from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug. 

He remains in police custody, while the other two have been released on conditional bail.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: "Drug-related harm and its associated criminality - which can include the exploitation of children, anti-social behaviour, theft, burglary, knife related violence and assault - is a priority for us and we will continue doing everything we can to tackle it."
