The car park is now open as normal.
KFC has been in the news in Southampton this week after their Portswood store “voluntarily closed” to deal with a pest problem.
The chicken shop on Portswood Road put a sign in the window informing customers that the restaurant had closed for maintenance work.
A KFC spokesperson said: “After being alerted to a pest issue in the local area affecting other businesses, our Portswood location voluntarily closed out of an abundance of caution while we investigated alongside the relevant specialists.”
