A planning application has been submitted for two properties in the back garden of a West End home.
The site, in Botley Road, would see two homes built with parking. They would be accessible through the same entrance as the existing property.
Two prior planning application have been submitted to EBC regarding transformation of this site in 2008 and 2013 respectively.
The first application would have seen eight two-bedroom flats build and the other would have seen two semi-detached dwellings and two three-bedroom semi-detached dwellings.

According to the application, noise generated from neighbouring property was a major factor for the previous applications' refusal.
The latest application states that “extensive noise testing has been carried out by a specialist and the conclusion is fact and undeniable – the site is acceptable for housing and the noise levels are within acceptable limits".
It is also understood that the partial demolition of the side garage will be required as part of the application.
