The European Commercial Marine Awards are being rebranded as the Seawork Awards.
This change comes ahead of the Seawork 2025 event, which is set to take place in Southampton from June 10 to 12.
The new name reflects Seawork's commitment to innovation and excellence in the global commercial marine sector.
The Seawork Awards will continue to honour the achievements of individuals, businesses, and vessels contributing to the commercial marine industry.
Key categories for the 2025 awards include the Innovation Awards, the Maritime Sustainability Award, the Maritime Civils Best Project Award, the Young Person's Development Award sponsored by Svitzer, the Maritime Professional of the Year Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award sponsored by Mercator Media and Maritime Journal.
The Seawork Awards will maintain the high standards set by the ECMAs but will also expand categories to better reflect the growing importance of sustainability, innovation, and diversity in the sector.
