The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

JONAS ALVES JARDIM, 22, of High Street, Southampton admitted speeding on the A335 Southampton Road, Eastleigh in a BMW. He was caught at 42mph in a 30mph zone by manned speeding equipment. Jardim was fined £72 and received four points. He must pay £110 court costs and a £28 surcharge. 

JASON HALL, 45, of Archers Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to speeding on High Street, Bishops Waltham. He was caught in a Ford Fiesta at 41mph in a 30mph zone. Hall was caught by manned speeding equipment. He was banned for 14 days and fined £384. Hall must pay £110 court costs and a £154 surcharge.

LEWIS CRAWFORD, 25, of Wither Rise, Oakley admitted two counts of exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the M3. He was caught driving a Fiat northbound between junctions ten and nine near Winchester at 80mph. He was also clocked at 95mph heading southbound between junctions 11 and 12. Crawford was banned for 84 days and fined £690. He must pay a £138 surcharge.

ADRIAN GIURGIU, 36, of Earls Road, Southampton was convicted of speeding on the westbound M27 between junctions eight and seven near Hedge End. He was clocked at 110mph in an Audi by an automatic camera. The national 70mph was in place. Giurgiu was fined £276 and received six points. He must pay £110 court costs and a £110 surcharge. 

GARY WARWICK, 53, of Paynes Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the M3 between junctions nine and 11. He was clocked at 58mph in a Ford near Winchester by an automatic camera. Warwick was banned for six months and received three points. He must pay a £153 fine, £85 court costs and a £61 surcharge.
