Canute Road works cause tailbacks
This is the scene in Canute Road where road works have closed part of the junction with Terminus Terrace and Platform Road.
Drivers heading east towards Ocean Village are forced to turn onto Terminus Terrace.
Tailbacks can be seen as traffic filters through the construction zone.

Canute Road to be closed for three weeks
Canute Road is currently undergoing works by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), which will closed the eastbound carriageway for three weeks.
The road is expected to remain shut until August 2.
Crash blocks West Quay Road
West Quay Road is partially blocked near Ikea after a crash.
Lane 2 is blocked eastbound between Harbour Parade and Ikea.

Traffic is currently busy around the waterfront.
According to the city council's traffic updates page, the area around Town Quay, Platform Road and Dock Gate 4 is particularly busy.

The council has warned of high volumes of cruise passengers around the city and that the waterfront will be busy.
