Police are still investigating after more than £10,000 was withdrawn on an intercepted bank card.

The huge sum of £10,800 was taken out at several Natwest branches in Hampshire between April 15 and 22.

It comes after a bank card and PIN were intercepted in the post at an address in West Horsley in Surrey.

The card was used in Lymington, Dorset and Somerset.

Detectives released CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.

Detective Constable Michael White, of Bournemouth police, said: “An investigation is underway to establish exactly when the bank card and PIN code documentation were stolen.

“As part of my enquiries, I have obtained CCTV images of a man believed to be using the stolen bank card and I would ask anyone with information about his identity to please come forward.”

A police spokesperson added: “Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240077323.”

Days later, on Thursday, July 11, a Dorset Police spokesman confirmed no arrests have been made in connection with this investigation and police are still looking to speak to the man pictured.
