Firefighters have rescued a woman in the New Forest after she became stuck on boggy ground.
Fire crews from Lyndhurst, Redbridge, and Fareham were called to attend the incident near Beaulieu Road at approximately 6.30pm on Sunday.
Mud paths and specialist equipment were used to reach and rescue the woman, who was later taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service told the Echo: “Firefighters from Lyndhurst were called to rescue a woman stuck on boggy ground off Beaulieu Road yesterday evening.

“The on-call crew were supported by specialist mud rescue teams from Redbridge and Fareham at around 6.30pm.
“Mud paths and specialist equipment was used to reach and rescue the woman who was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.”
They added: “Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service left the scene and returned to station following the stop message at 8.20pm.”
