Three people have been taken to hospital after a speedboat crashed into a marina last night.
Police confirmed the crash happened at Gosport Marina at around 11pm on Saturday night.
Prior to that, police said the speedboat had collided with the harbour wall in Cowes earlier that evening.
Three people involved in the incident were taken to hospital after the crash in Gosport, but their conditions are not suspected to be life threatening.
Here is the police statement in full: "We were called shortly before 11pm last night, Saturday, April 20, by our colleagues at South Central Ambulance Service.
"They made us aware of a speedboat that had collided in Gosport marina.
"It was reported that the boat had earlier collided with the harbour wall in Cowes.
"Officers attended and three people have been taken to hospital. Their injuries are not considered life threatening at the current time.
"Our enquiries into the circumstances of this incident are ongoing."
