Two homes in Chandler's Ford were hit by daylight burglaries last Monday, police said.

The force is now looking for witnesses to the incidents.

An earring and necklace set were reported stolen during an incident on Chestnut Avenue, which occurred between 1pm and 5.30pm on Monday, April 8.

The front door was forced open in order to gain entry to the property.

A gold ring, cash and a house key were reported stolen during an incident on Park Road, which occurred between 12.30pm and 1pm.

The rear door was forced open in order to gain access to the address. 

A spokesperson for the police said: "If you have any information about either of these incidents, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please get in touch with us."
