A Southampton shoplifter has been jailed after he stole almost £900 worth of items from various shops including Levis, B&Q and Card Factory.
Kenneth Lewis was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison at Southampton Magistrates' Court for a spate of shoplifting offences.
The court heard how he stole items worth £892.95 in total from shops including Co-op, B&Q and Levis in Southampton.
He also stole from Tresspass in Eastleigh, Holland and Barrett in Bournemouth and Superdrug and Card Factory in New Milton.

Items taken were candles, batteries, jumpers, jeans, shampoo, conditioner, cheese, coffee, meat and four bags of protein.
The offences took place between October 26, 2023 and February 22 this year.
The 51-year-old of Northam Road, Southampton was convicted of seven counts of theft from a shop.
He was also convicted of possessing a controlled drug of Class C, namely Neurontin.
