A yellow weather warning for wind has been extended by the Met Office, with large gusts set sweep across the New Forest today.
The weather warning is in place from 7am this morning until 11.59pm this evening, coinciding with spells of rainfall.
A spokesperson for the Met Office warned: “There is a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air, and ferry services are affected.
“There is a small chance that injuries could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.”
They added: “There is a small chance that some roads and bridges could close.”
With this in mind, here is an hour-by-hour forecast for the New Forest today.
