One of the tallest Ferris wheels in the country is coming to Southampton’s Christmas Market.

Organisers S&D Leisure announced the arrival of the spectacular wheel, alongside other exciting rides.

The impressive observation ride will offer ‘breathtaking views’ over the market below and surrounding city skyline.

For the thrillseekers however, Atmosfear will launch people into the sky by swinging 80 feet over the top in a 360-degree action.

In a post on their website, S&D Leisure said: “Go for it, if you dare.

“Feeling brave? Hop onto the Snowball Launcher the tallest mobile bungee in the world which releases you in a cage, catapulting you 55m high into the air.

“There’s no shortage of excitement and entertainment to keep the whole family entertained.

“Just make sure you don’t miss it.”

There will also be a traditional Victorian carousel for those looking for a slow-paced evening, while the Christmas Fun House features rides suitable for children.
