The following night, they will perform the tribute to Grammy Award-winning stadium rockers Coldplay including greatest hits like Clocks, Viva La Vida, Fix You and Trouble. The band famously includes drummer Will Champion, who grew up in Southampton and remains a regular visitor. Some even believe their breakthrough single Yellow is a nod to Will's beloved Saints and their FA Cup winning away kit colour.

The series, by leading global live-entertainment discovery platform Fever, aims to enable a broader audience, that might have never considered a classical music concert before, to connect with the most iconic pieces of the greatest composers and listen to the top hits of well-known artists in a different way.

Daily Echo: A previous Candlelight Concert

Candlelight was initially conceived as a classical music series with concerts featuring works from history's greatest composers, such as Vivaldi, Mozart, and Chopin. Now, the ever-growing list of programmes includes a wide variety of themes and genres, including tributes to contemporary artists like Queen, ABBA, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran, as well as shows dedicated to K-Pop, movie soundtracks and more.

This multi-sensory music experience has also evolved to feature different elements, such as ballet dancers or aerial performers, as well as other genres, such as jazz, soul, opera, flamenco and more.

There are two shows at 7pm and 9pm each night and they last around one hour each.

Tickets, priced from £20, are available from feverup.com/en/southampton/candlelight-summer
