THERE were classic cars, limousines and even fire engines - but teenager Sam Vaughan turned the most heads when she arrived at Toynbee School prom in a wheelbarrow pushed by head boy Mike Timby.
The pair were among the wackier arrivals as this year's prom season got under way.
Pupils from two of Hampshire's biggest schools said their farewells and enjoyed the biggest party of the year on Friday.
Hampshire Collegiate School threw a lavish bash for its leavers at the Cromwell Arms in Romsey, while students from Toynbee School danced the night away at Chilworth Manor.
