A POPULAR pub and takeaway have been handed fresh hygiene ratings.
Conducted by the Food Standards Agency, the new ratings for eateries in Winchester were given out this week.
Ratings from the FSA range from 0 (urgent improvement is required) to 5 (hygiene standards are very good).
It is important to remember, though, that the food hygiene rating reflects the standards of food hygiene, not food quality.
- The Willow Tree, a pub at 14 Durngate Terrace, Winchester, was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 6.
- Marse, a takeaway at Unit 30, The Brooks, Middle Brook Street, Winchester was given a score of five-out-of-five on April 5.
