TWO MOTORCYCLISTS have been seriously injured following a crash this afternoon.

Emergency services rushed to Belmore Lane near Bishop's Waltham following reports of two motorbikes crashing just before 2pm.

The riders - a man and a woman - have suffered serious injuries, according to police.

Road blocks are in place and an investigation is underway.

Crews from Eastleigh and Bishop's Waltham Fire Stations were called to help and the situation is ongoing.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services (HFRS) said: "Crews from Eastleigh and Bishop's Waltham were mobilised at 1.54pm to Belmore Lane.

"There was an RTC involving two motorbikes.

"There were two casualties (a male and a female) who were taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

"HFRS assisted with casualty care and the stop message came in at 3.02PM."
