A SOUTHAMPTON woman has been fined after she stole seven pieces of meat and 17 energy drink cans.
Lauren Louise Wayne, of Cuckmere Lane, stole the meat valued at £56.64 from Lidl at Totton Retail Park, Totton, a court heard.
On the same day, the 28-year-old obstructed a police constable while he was on duty.
A week earlier, Wayne was caught stealing 17 cans of Red Bull which cost £36.55, from Tesco at Mercator Close, Southampton.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, she pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing, and one count of obstructing a police officer.
She received a two-year conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge.
Wayne was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
