MORE than 40 years ago members of Southampton’s King Edward VI School choir performed a sailaway song in the city’s docks.
The youngsters lined up on the quayside in the shadow of the bows of the Russian cruise ship Mikhail Lermontov just before Christmas in 1976 when the Cold War was particularly frosty.
