In reply to Katherine Barbour of the Green Party, I must point out that spending on cycle lanes is not just a waste of money,but has a negative impact on the economy by holding up transportation of supplies.
I would invite her to stand at the junction of Stoneham Lane and Bassett Green Road and try and spot a cyclist using the cycle lanes.
Of course, she will have to keep leaping out of the way of idiot cyclists hurtling by on the pavement, so I hope that, unlike me, she is young and agile,
