TWO MEN have been rescued from the River Itchen.
They fell into the water near Northam Bridge after their sailing dingy flipped over at around 2.30pm today.
A rescue team from Hillhead Coastguard raced to the scene.
However, a passing boat had already fished the men from the water and dropped them ashore.
The men were given safety and medical advice.
Meanwhile, the Hamble Lifeboat team towed the dingy to St Denys.
