A 28-YEAR-OLD woman has been released under investigation after she reportedly smashed up at least ten cars including her own.
Eastleigh residents described scenes of "carnage" on Tuesday afternoon.
One witness said how a woman driving a red Ford Fiesta swerved into Arnold Road chased by two police cars.
The driver is said to have ploughed into parked cars either side of the road writing-off multiple vehicles.
She was finally stopped when a man lunged through her window and snatched her keys from the ignition.
The woman was later arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police, dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit, failing to provide a specimen, and four offences of assaulting an emergency worker.
According to police, a 28-year-old woman has since been released but remains under investigation.
