A "REALLY kind and lovely" man was found hanged in a Hampshire country park last year.

Jason John Pulman of Church Lane in Botley was found hanged in woodland in Manor Farm County Park near Bursledon on October 29 last year.

A care coordinator who knew the 42-year-old described his as a "really lovely kind man" who was "hard working".

She added: "He was deeply troubled but very pleasant."

Mr Pulman was found hanged in the woodland by a dog walker at wound 8.30am on October 29.

A post mortem by a consultant pathologist said that the cause of death was by hanging, and the coroner ruled that Mr Pulman took his own life.

During an inquest into Mr Pulman's death, it was revealed that although he had struggled with depression and unstable personality disorder in the past, the death of his mother in April 2019 caused his mental health to deteriorate further.

It was heard in the inquest that Mr Pulman had been dealing with a lot of grief prior to his mothers death after the death of his young twins followed by the suicide of his ex partner on his birthday.

It was heard that Mr Pulman had twins with his ex partner when he was young but unfortunately one died of cot death when they were 19-months-old and the other died a little over a year later in a road traffic incident.

His ex partner, and mother of the twins, then took her own life on Mr Pulman's 21st birthday.

Mr Pulman had two other children but it was not known if he was in contact with them prior to his death.
