Joan and Jack Hamer
A HAMPSHIRE couple were celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary on March 31.
Jack and Joan Hamer have been married nearly 75 years and are living independently at Brendoncare in Otterbourne.
Both born in Wales, Mr Hamer was a coal miner and then later a police officer.
They have a number of family members who live nearby – son, daughter in law, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
