THE Civic Centre has been a popular picture subject ever since the foundation stone was laid 90 years ago.
This 1954 photograph was taken from the roof of the telephone exchange in Ogle Road and looks across the old Hants and Dorset bus station, towards the Civic Centre.
The fountain of the rose garden can be seen through the buildings, while the Grand Theatre can be spied on the right.
