IT IS May 1980 and the Netley Jubilettes are out on parade.
Over the years, majorette troupes have twirled, marched and choreographed thousands of routines and some – such as this group – even carried off major awards.
Many of the marching majorettes seen here, 30 years ago, may have had daughters, or even granddaughters who could have even followed in their highstepping footsteps.
