HAMPSHIRE Libraries will be stocking up their digital bookshelves.

In an effort to help people impacted by Coronavirus, libraries will be adding to their "fantastic" selection of ebooks, audiobook, and online newspapers and magazines.

The county library services are reportedly monitoring the Coronavirus situation and reviewing advice from Public Health England on a daily basis.

Many Hampshire libraries continue to remain open, but with a reduced level of service.

To reduce the potential spread of the virus libraries have temporarily suspending all groups, clubs, activities and events.

Where possible, Libraries will remain open for book borrowing and IT access.

However, due to low levels of staffing in some areas, people are advised to visit library websites or social media pages for up to date information on opening times and closures.
