SIX Southampton men have been arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences.

As part of ongoing police work to try and tackle drug related crime in Southampton, six men were arrested for drug supply offences on Tuesday March 10.

A 50-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested from on suspicion of possession, with intent to supply class A drugs.

Then a 20-year-old man from Bishopstoke was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of a controlled drug of class A and possession of a controlled drug of class B.

While a 20-year-old-man, two 18 year-old-men and a 16 year-old-boy have all been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

All of the men have been released, with the 50-year-old man being released under investigation, and all of the other suspects being released on conditional bail.

Now, officers are appealing for anyone who has witnessed drug-dealing or drug-related activity in their community, to come forward.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers made six arrests on the afternoon of March 10 as part of our ongoing work to tackle drug related crime in Southampton.

"We would like to hear from anyone who witnesses drug-dealing or is concerned about drug-related activity in their community."
