A BODY has been found washed up in Southampton.
Police were called just after midday today to reports of a man's body washed up on the shoreline in Woolston.
His body was found near to Woolston Wastewater Works in John Thornycroft Road.
Police enquiries are ongoing and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.05pm today (9 March) following the discovery of a man’s body that had washed up on the shoreline at Woolston.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time, and enquiries are ongoing."
