YOU may not have woken to a thick blanket of snow, but some of Dorset was hit with snow showers overnight.
Residents in Boscombe and Southbourne fell victim to flurries of snow, settling on cars and pavements.
One Twitter user posted a video of a thick snow shower coming down in the Boscombe area at 2am.
Yes I'm outside at 2am in my pyjamas but the snow in the Boscombe area is so pretty 🖤 @Bournemouthecho @dorsetsnow pic.twitter.com/37XQK4M5pX

Poole was also affected by the weather, as was Branksome and Wallisdown.
Snow settled slightly in Bournemouth too, and one Twitter user managed to build a ‘snowman’.

Bournemouth & Poole Weather this morning tweeted: “Pretty slippery out there currently as the light dusting of snow has frozen solid where settled.
“Actually a pretty nice day ahead now, plenty of sun from the off.”
Was there any snow where you are?
