HUNDREDS of people braved the rain to attend a food festival in Chandler's Ford.
Despite the wind and rain from Storm Ciara, more than 350 people descended on Chandler's Ford Methodist Church for this year's annual "AnandMela".
The Indian-style food festival was organised and hosted by volunteers from the South of England Marathi Pariwar, and acted as a celebration of India's culture and food.
Lead organiser, Dr Manish Chitnis, said: "The event gives us an opportunity to present and celebrate our culture and what better way than the food!
"We are very thankful to those who braved the weather and made it to the event and those who missed it, we hope to see you next year!
The event took place between 12pm and 3pm on Sunday February 9 and there was a total of 15 stalls selling traditional Marathi drinks, starters, mains and deserts, all of which completely selling out.
In a separate room, there was a games stall, which kept the children entertained
