SAINTS striker Shane Long has been caught driving at more than 100 mile an hour on a Hampshire motorway.
The Southampton forward was clocked at 101 miles an hour in his high-powered Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo.
Aldershot magistrates heard the 33-year-old was caught while driving his £120,000 car along the M27.
The Republic of Ireland international, thought to be on a weekly salary of £60,000 at Saints, admitted speeding.
He did not appear in person at Aldershot Magistrates' Court under the Single Justice Procedure guidelines.
His speeding offence took place on October 20 last year, a day after Southampton FC drew away at Wolves and five days before they were thrashed 9-0 by Leicester at St Mary's.
The forward, who lives in a £1.4 million home in the village of West Wellow, near Romsey, had six points slapped on his licence.
He must also pay a fine of £440 plus a victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £85.
He joined Saints from Hull in 2014 for a reported £12m and has since made 161 appearance scoring 26 goals.
In April last year the striker scored the fastest goal in Premier League history against Watford, clocking in at 7.69 seconds.
He featured for Saints yesterday as they lost 4-0 to leaders Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield.
