A MAN caught drink-driving twice within two months has been given a three year driving ban.
Michael Caddick was caught drink-driving in Ringwood on August 20.
On that occasion, the 21-year-old was breathalysed and found to have 102 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Then, on October 10, Caddick was caught again, this time in Southampton Road, Ringwood.
On that occasion, Caddick was 114 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – meaning Caddick was nearly three times the limit on the first occasion and more than three times the limit on the second.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Caddick, of The Mount, Ringwood, pleaded guilty to two counts of drink driving.
He was disqualified from driving for 36 months.
Caddick was also made the subject of a community order for 12 months, including a 15 day drink impaired drivers programme, six days of rehabilitation activity requirement and 120 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90.
