TRAFFIC police have labelled the driver of this £45,000 supercar 'Mustang silly' – after discovering the vehicle hadn't been insured.

Officers stopped the bright orange car on the M3 northbound near Basingstoke at the weekend.

It had been travelling 'at speed', police say.

It was then found that the vehicle wasn't covered by insurance – and police seized it from its owner.

Calling the driver "Mustang silly", an officer from Hants Roads Policing said: "This vehicle was sighted at speed on the M3 northbound at junction seven.

"The vehicle was stopped and it was then found that the owner has not insured his £45,000 tangerine.

"The vehicle was seized."
