TWO people have been rescued after their car overturned on a Hampshire road.

They were pulled from their 4x4 after it flipped on its side in Harbridge Road north of Ringwood.

Crews from Fordingbridge and Ringwood Fire Stations rushed to the scene of the incident which happened just before 8am this morning.

According to emergency services road conditions were very icy.

No serious injuries were reported.

Posting on social media a Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson said: "At 0749 hours, our crews from Fordingbridge47 and RingwoodFire attended a road traffic incident in the Harbridge area of Hampshire.

"Our crews rescued two casualties from a vehicle, which was on it's side.

"The road conditions were very icy. Stop received at 0838 hours."
