A YOUNG Alresford man has been banned from driving for 20 months after he was caught over the alcohol limit in Winchester.
Nathan Clark, 23, was driving a 55-reg Vauxhall Zafira on Bereweeke Road, Weeke, when breath tested by the police on September 30.
Magistrates heard that Clark's alcohol reading was 203 micrograms in 100 millilitres of blood when the limit is 80, making him more than twice the level allowed.
Clark, of Appledown Close, pleaded guilty.
As well as the ban he was fined £120 with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The disqualification will be cut by 141 days if he passes an approved course by January 24 2021.
