THERE are no trains between Dorset and Southampton this afternoon due to flooding.

Lines are blocked between Brockenhurst and New Milton.

As a result, trains between Weymouth, Poole, Bournemouth and Southampton are all cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day. However, the wet weather is set to continue until Sunday.

It's the second day of misery for rail passengers after issues in the same area yesterday.

A spokesperson from South Western Railway said: "Due to heavy rain flooding the railway between Brockenhurst and New Milton, all lines are blocked.

"Both lines are blocked to electric trains. CrossCountry diesel trains are still able to run.

"Trains between Southampton Central and Bournemouth are cancelled.

"Trains between Waterloo and Bournemouth will run between Waterloo and Brockenhurst, calling at all stations between Southampton and Brockenhurst."
