THE long dark tunnels of Fort Widley have plenty of scary stories to tell. But what will they reveal during the ghost hunt experience this weekend?

Fort Widley is part of a network of victorian forts across Portsdown Hill which were built to defend Portsmouth.

Although never used to defend the city, Fort Widley has become known as one of Portsmouths most haunted venues with plenty of resident ghosts.

Visitors the fort have been followed by the presence of a tall, dark shadow with heavy footsteps. On occasions, he has been witnessed with a lantern.

What will you experience when the lights go out and the spirits come to life?
