A MANHUNT has been launched after a woman was allegedly robbed and another reportedly threatened by a weapon-wielding man in a Southampton alleyway.

Police say the victim was walking through an alleyway when she was approached by a man who allegedly threatened her with a weapon and demanded money.

She handed him her handbag and he ran off.
