A WINCHESTER man caught drink driving twice in ten days has been banned for two years.
Antoni Chmiel, 40, was stopped in a 10-reg Ford Transit on Winchester Road, Alresford, on October 24 and in Itchen Abbas on November 4, magistrates in Basingstoke were told.
The first time his alcohol reading was 87 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath, nearly three times the limit; the second time is was 45, over the legal maximum of 35.
Chmiel, of Chaundler Road, Abbotts Barton, admitted both charges.
He was fined £160 with a £32 victim surcharge and £170 costs.
The disqualification will be cut by 183 days if he passes an approved course by March 19 2021.
